Anson holds luau to celebrate hard work

To celebrate learning and hard work on assessments, Anson Elementary held a luau Monday, May 9.

Each grade level had the opportunity to spent an hour at the “beach” and luau site, with teacher-directed activities and a treasure hunt in the sand.

Food service staff served a luau picnic consisting of BBQ pork sandwiches, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, and special luau cupcakes.

Students and staff were also decked out in Hawaiian attire.
