Students on “Team 8C” at Miller Middle School adopted six children from the Salvation Army Angel Tree, continuing a five-year holiday tradition.

The students raised money to buy presents for the Angel Tree. Participating students had their names entered in a drawing, with six selected to travel to Wal-Mart with teacher Shea Lunsford on Friday, Dec. 14, to purchase the gifts.

The students spent $483.83 on a wide variety of gifts.
