Hoglan Elementary students, families and staff collected toys and coins for the Salvation Army Toy Drive in December.
This was the fourth year Hoglan students and staff rang bells and held red kettles outside of the school at arrival and dismissal time. The drive resulted in $420.92 collected and 50 new toys donated. The money was used to purchase toys for children age 9 to 12.
The toys were on display at an all-school assembly where holiday songs were shared as the students and staff celebrated the spirit of giving.
