Lenihan recognizes honor roll students with special ceremony

Lenihan Intermediate families and staff celebrated their young scholars Tuesday with a special “Hats Off to Our Scholars” night in the MHS/Community Auditorium.

Two receptions were held Feb. 12: one for fifth grade students and their families at 5:30pm and another for sixth grade students and families at 7pm. Principal Ralph Bryant and associate principal Liz Jurgensen announced the names of students on the Gold and Silver honor rolls as they walked across the stage and shook hands with Lenihan staff members.

Gold Honor Roll represented students receiving all A grades in the first semester. A combined 80 fifth and sixth grade students earned this distinction.

Silver Honor Roll members earned all A or B grades. A total 230 students were honored for this achievement.
